Why can't I publish my website?
I am using the Nvu text editor to make a website using xhtml and css. When I save my website as index.xhtml I can browse it fine but I can't publish it because when I go to my URL it shows an index of my files rather than my actual webpage. When I save it as index.html my website comes up completely blank when I try to browse it. I would greatly appreciate some help! Thanks
Umm, have you subscribed to a web-hosting service? unless you have your own server set up with Apache or similar server, you have to have a web-host to up-load your pages to.
Make sure you have FTP set up right.
Are you using a hosting service, or something free?
Also: Nvu isn't a text editor. And they stopped development on it a long time ago. The new version is called KompoZer.
